Down here, we have strong belief that Filling Station attendants have a way they press the nozzle to discharge only air instead of fuel.
Me i dont believe that unless you give me 100% correct evidence.

Am aware if there is no fuel inside the filling station tank such can happen but chances of such is very lean.

Am also aware that after selling to the person before you if you're not at alert they start selling to you without resetting the meter.

Am also aware so many of their meters are not accurate.
But you see that believe the attendants can decide to pump only air instead of fuel i no believe that but if you're 100% sure how they pull such stunt please educate us.

Its no longer news that UBER finally shut down operations in Nigeria yesterday, why....bad economy, bad government, Naira liquidation, multiple taxation and toxic work environment.
To refresh your memory, UBER recently left some other african countries like Tanzania, Uganda, Côte d'Ivoire but actively and profitly operating in Ghana, Egypt, Kenya and South Africa.
Flash back to some weeks ago where they where banned from operating in our airports but as that decision raised lots of noise they were reinstated.
What did make out from this....bad government.

Now for people like you that's still campaigning for bad government to continue bear in mind so many multinational companies contributing to our economy have also exited Nigeria from 2023 and many more will go.

This morning i wanted to book a ride from Festac to Airport and that's when the reality dawned on me. Its really a pity things that work in other countries fail here and some people are still campaigning for same politicians that failed us. Who do us this?

Look at this scenario well and don't be in a haste to make your choice because this is why most people end up making the wrong choice of cars.

▪︎ A car used for 5 years for mostly highway journey with current mileage of about 230,000 km

▪︎ A car used for same 5 years whithin Lagos with current milleage of 120,000 km, the car has never moved out of lagos.

If you're to make a choice between these two cars which one will you go for and why?

Sombody sent me this screenshot yesterday from Canada.
He's a Nigerian looking for the best hands in Vehicle Maintenance down here.
He said all the search he conducted online was mentioning Engr Gozie Atueyi Page as one of the best in Nigerian so he decided to reach out.

I was shocked, this my small profile, am even thinking am an upcoming without knowing am even among the best in Nigeria currently, if not NO 1 sef.

Sombody send this asking me to help him choose between:
2013 Honda Accord, 2012 Corolla and 2012 Camry.
All these cars are good and reliable but you choose car based on what you NEED the car for.
In this case the person need the car for Uber ride-hailing.

The 2013 HONDA ACCORD is very good but based on this taxi job its not the best option. The Accord is equipped with 2.4L K24W1 engine and CVT gear which is best for Luxury and performance. This honda also use Earth Dreams technology so its not the best for pick and drip taxi haulage business.
If its for long distance journeys or airport taxi the this Honda is good to go.

The 2012 TOYOTA CAMRY is a very good car too but will perform better for luxury, comfort and long distance journey. This will also do well for airport taxi because it have space, wide leg room and big trunk for loads. This Camry is equipped with 2.5L 2AR engine (the one Nigerians nicknamed Venza engine). Its also equipped with 6 speed gear meaning its built for long distance journey not city driving where you drive mostly 3 and 4 speed.

The 2012 TOYOTA COROLLA.
From the look of things this Corolla will be the best for this job because it have the smallest engine among the three. Its equipped with 1.8L 2ZR engine and 4 speed gear making it best for city pick and drop driving and profit maximization.

So from all indications the Corolla is the best for this job but had it been the person is going for airport taxi job the Honda or Camry will be the best option because they have more space and higher performance.
So stop buying cars because you see others buying same, instead buy based on what you NEED the car for.
