Some of our customers have vehicles that are just for the summer months, and we love that! But it also means that those vehicles are often stored for long periods, which involves some TLC.

This customer brought their Classic SL to us for a full underbody Waxoyl treatment before storing it for the winter months. What a beautiful vehicle and such a privilege to be trusted with the job!

Not every fault code is as it seems…well, not in this case. This one was caused by a small rodent that decided to add something new to its diet. I don’t imagine he will be returning for seconds.

What are your plans for tomorrow? If you are free, pop down to the green in front of Ely Cathedral, where we will have two cars at the Classic Car Rally.

Cambridge and District Classic Car Club are once again displaying classic cars outside the cathedral. There will be up to 100 cars on show. Many different makes and models will be on display, from pre-war to modern classics. You can vote for your favourite car, and children can vote for theirs too [info taken from the Visit Ely website].

The sun is due to shine, and it’s a great day out for the whole family. See you there…

Guess who has just celebrated a birthday? Yep, Kevin 🥳.

So, of course, a little celebration was on the cards: a surprise boat trip and six hours of relaxing family time in the sunshine! So today is about giving a shoutout to Ely Grazing Company for our delicious grazing box, Fish and Duck Marina for the boat hire…oh and Kevin, because this was all about him after all. And so it should be 😊.

We love our business, but building that balance between work and play is what life should be about.

How is everyone coping with the summer holidays so far? It can be challenging for many families to juggle work and family life… we understand, as we are a family-run business ourselves.

But if we are honest, we do have plenty of fun amidst the chaos; we make it work and find joy wherever we can. This week, Becky and Kevin have taken some time out to spend as a family, and as you can see, Harry has been busy building his new bike.

These photos definitely make us smile and deserve a place on the grid.
