Did you know you can quickly check your tyre tread depth using nothing more than a 20p coin?

Simply place a 20p coin into the main tread grooves of your tyre.

- If the outer band of the coin is hidden, your tread is above the legal minimum.
- If you can see the outer band, your tread may be below the legal limit and should be checked by a professional.

Your tyres are the only part of your vehicle in contact with the road, so maintaining good tread depth is essential for safety, grip and braking performance.
