Well, now the Scottish Bike Show is over and the secret is out I can share this.
I've rebuilt this bike from a collection of rusted parts over the last two years.

Today, I presented it to my good friend Davie as a surprise and took it to his house after the show today.

It's been on display on the VJMC stand all weekend, And Davie came round to visit today. He was amazed.

He know nothing of this build, I've worked very hard to ensure this and could not have done this without help from various parts, Barry, Alex and friends in green kit, the VJMC members for letting me hijack the stand this morning, and many more

I hope he enjoys it and doesn't put it through a bus stop like the last one 30 odd years ago!

That's twice I've done this. If your a mate of mine, consider yourself on notice, it could be you and it WILL be embarrassing!

This is more than two middle age-ish blokes thrashing around a track.

This is two world champions, who have risked their lives fighting each other, arch rivals and long loathed competitors... coming together, pushing themselves to ride, learn and reconcile.

Everything can be worked out. Until it can't.
But we work better together folks. Remember that.

Working with some tasty titanium pistons from Titan Classics rebuilding some 919 Fireblade calipers tonight with Barry, it's a pleasure to work on kit with good parts and the correct tools.
Some progress on one of my bikes too. Productive Monday evening!
