2012 Mini One with only 37k on the clock in for some diagnosing work.

Customer complained of an oil pressure solenoid fault on a diagnostic scan but no warning lights on the dash. Upon inspection I found a slightly warped oil filter and a faulty oil pump solenoid valve.

New OE oil pump with solenoid fitted, oil and filter changed with Genuine BMW oil and Mann OE oil filter and the problem was resolved.

Had this lovely 2021 G20 BMW M340i in yesterday for a routine brake fluid service and check why the remote software updates weren’t downloading successfully.

Diagnosed as an ageing main battery which will be booked in at a later date.

CBS reset and online service book stamped via the AOS system.

2014 BMW E71 X6 30d in for numerous oil leaks. Investigated and diagnosed as a leaking rocker cover and oil filter housing seals.

Parts replaced:
*OEM rocker cover
*Genuine rocker cover gasket
*Genuine oil filter housing & cooler seals
*Engine oil & filter change
*New anti-freeze

2018 BMW 118i I had in recently for a timing fault investigation.

Upon diagnosing and stripped down, I found the exhaust vanos solenoid had failed. Inlet & exhaust vanos solenoids, upper timing guide, chain tensioner and gaskets replaced with Genuine BMW parts, vanos adaptations reset and back on the road!

2018 Mini Cooper F55 with the B38 engine, recovered to me from a BMW Main Dealer as a non-runner and Vanos faults!

At the start of the month I had this lovely Chilli Red F55 in for investigation work. Upon stripping down the rocker cover, I found the inlet camshaft 70° out of timing and the vanos sprocket hanging on for life. The threads for the inlet camshaft were damaged, but thankfully managed to save camshaft replacement by retapping the threads with a special sized tap.

Replacement parts include ⚙️🔧:

Genuine Vanos sprockets ✅
Genuine Vanos solenoids ✅
Genuine upper chain tensioner ✅
Genuine upper updated slide rail ✅
Genuine gaskets ✅
Genuine oil and filter change ✅

All faults cleared, vanos adaptations reset and back up and running how it should be.
