2014 Ford Kuga – DCM3.5 ECU Cloning Done Right
Trade customer called us after a vehicle they’d sold started playing up. Intermittent faults, warning lights, running issues — the usual signs of ECU trouble.
The DCM3.5 ECU fitted to many 2.0 diesel Ford models is known for internal chip failure. Once removed, we found evidence of multiple previous repair attempts… and the faults had returned again.
At that point, patch repairs weren’t the answer.
🔧 Our Solution: Full Professional ECU Cloning
We connected directly to the board in boot mode and extracted 100% of the original data — immobiliser, coding, maps, calibration — everything.
That data was then transferred to a tested, known-good donor ECU.
No guesswork.
No repeat failures.
No cutting corners.
The unit was resealed, refitted and fully tested.
✅ Faults cleared
✅ Vehicle running perfectly
✅ Customer protected from another comeback
If your Ford (or other 2.0 diesel models running DCM3.5) is showing:
• Non-start issues
• Random warning lights
• Injector/communication faults
• Previous “repairs” that haven’t lasted
It may not need another repair — it may need replacing properly.
