Do you really need to own your vans?
For some businesses, owning commercial vehicles makes perfect sense.
But ownership also means putting capital into a depreciating asset and taking responsibility for its maintenance, repair costs, downtime and eventual disposal.
So perhaps the better question isn't:
“Should we buy or rent?”
It's:
“Where does our capital work hardest?”
If that money could be invested in people, equipment, stock, technology or growth, then a fully maintained rental fleet may offer a very different commercial argument.
You get the vehicles your business needs, while transferring much of the operational responsibility and residual value risk to your fleet partner.
Ownership isn't wrong.
But it shouldn't be the default simply because that's how you've always funded your fleet.
At Autolease, we help businesses find the fleet solution that fits the way they actually operate.
