Finally found 🤩 a genuine Y53 carnival yellow EG6 SiR with the yellow tweed gathers interior, what I believe is the only one left in the UK with the yellow interior.

Imported in 2002, 3 UK owners and parked in a garage since approx 2012, I’d love to say it’s mint but sadly not the case, I didn’t picture the interior prior clean however pictures 7-11 you get the idea, it was incredibly dirty, rusty brake discs previously sitting on the passenger seat, rubbish and mouse droppings everywhere but cleaned up far better than expected.

It’s not complete either, engine swap was removed to go K, swap sold so I’m not sure whether to put another B16A in it or it’ll be B16B / B18C.

The plan is full resto, bodywork needs some TLC, underside is good for something that’s been in the UK 24 years. Before this is started, I’d like to get more progress done on the TME as that’s back from its underside resto next week 👀
