If you are looking to pass your driving test this summer and need to cram in some extra tuition ahead of a test an intensive course may be what you need to help you reach that goal.

Bellamy’s Driving School is now booking intensive courses in for June, July and August.

If you don’t have a practical test booked, but you have passed your theory and have some driving experience already, until 12th May we can help you with booking and managing a test as well as providing the tuition in the lead up to it.

An assessment lesson will be carried out initially to gauge your experience before the length of any course is confirmed.

Cerys Buckman passed her practical driving test at Burgess Hill test centre on Monday afternoon (16/03/26). It was a great FIRST TIME pass with only a few driver faults.

Cerys initially contacted me in October last year wanting to do an intensive course. She had taken a few manual lessons a couple of years ago but then decided she wanted to switch to automatic. Since then she had been out driving regularly with a family member but wanted to do the intensive course to refine her driving and ensure she was at the required standard for the test.

After doing an initial assessment in November we discussed a couple of options, with Cerys deciding to go with a 24 hour intensive course over a couple of weeks leading up to her test.

James Bates passed his practical driving test at Crawley test centre on Thursday morning (12/03/26) with just one driver fault!

James contacted me in November asking about an intensive course ahead of a test he had booked in early January. He had taken tests before whilst at university, but now wanted to consolidate his learning ahead of his next attempt.

Following an initial assessment we agreed on a 20 hour course, with the test moved to early February to allow for the course to be fitted in. Unfortunately the driving school car that was going to be used for the test broke down during the week prior to when the test was, which meant we were unable to complete the course on time. I was fortunate to be able to find a test for just short of 3 weeks later and paid for the test so James did not have any extra expense.

At the end of the course, due to an unfortunate error, James didn’t get the result he was looking for. With just one 2 hour session since then we were able to get a positive result, just two weeks and a day after that previous attempt.

Thomas Butler passed his practical driving test at Crawley test centre on Thursday morning (05/03/26) with ZERO driver faults!

Thomas started his lessons at the end of October and completed a block of 9 hours training before doing a 20 hour intensive course at the end of January. Whilst Thomas didn’t get the positive result he was after at the end of the course, due to an unfortunate error near the end of that test, we did a further 3 hours of refresher training over the last week.

Jacob Kilkelly passed his practical driving test at Burgess Hill test centre on Thursday morning (26/02/26) with only a few driver faults!

Jacob initially contacted me in September last year enquiring about an intensive course. Jacob had taken a couple of tests a few years ago but had not driven since his last test, which was before he went off to university.

Following an initial assessment session in December we discussed a few different options, with Jacob deciding to do a short 12 hour intensive course over three days leading up to his test.
