Our next adventure after Leicester took us to Canterbury. Canterbury was not on our must do list but a local in a parking lot suggested it and what the heck! Off we went. Canterbury is a Cathedral city & was a pilgrimage site in the Middle Ages. Ancient walls encircle ite medieval Centre with cobbled streets & timber framed houses. Canterbury Cathedral, Founded in 597 A.D. is the headquarters of the Church of England. UNESCO World Heritage Site.
