Well, that didn't last long! 😂

The switch from working on the 1.5 Peugeot BlueHDi to the Ford SID 211 lasted all of about a day before duty called. We were back on an emergency callout within the hour!
Both of these systems are notorious for giving drivers absolute nightmares with AdBlue faults. If you know, you know that stressful "No Start" countdown ticking away on your dashboard.

We're giving the 1.5 Stellantis engines a miss today and getting back to a classic staple out on the road: the Ford Transit 2.0.

We headed out to a customer whose van was suffering from the dreaded AdBlue issues. AdBlue countdowns and warning lights can be an absolute headache when you need your van for work, but for us? No problem at all. We got it fully sorted on-site so this Transit can get straight back to business.

Busy day today at KP Tuning! 🔧

🛻 Ford Ranger Diagnostics

We headed back out to a Ranger we've worked on previously that is currently suffering from a Mass Air Flow (MAF) issue and an ABS communications error to the PCM. We put in some solid diagnostic time today to get to the bottom of it:
Smoke testing for leaks
Analyzing live data
Back-probing the sensors

A new MAF sensor is currently being installed! We’ll be right back on it to get the adaptations locked in and fully sort out the ABS.

🚗 VW Golf 1.6 - Stage 1 Tune

(Queensferry)
We had to briefly pause the Ranger to dart over to Queensferry and get a Golf ECU on the bench for a Stage 1 power map. It might "only" be a 1.6L, but the results speak for themselves:
Power: Pushed up to 140 HP 📈
Torque: +60 Nm increase 🚀

The customer is absolutely thrilled with the difference. The car feels significantly better pulling out of junctions and roundabouts, with much sharper take-offs and that crucial extra overtaking power. 💨

Another day, another BMW 320d sorted by KP Tuning! 🚗💨

Out on the road today tackling the notorious swirl flap issue. If you know these engines, you know those flaps are a ticking time bomb that can cause catastrophic engine failure. We sorted this one out right on the customer's driveway with a permanent blanking solution, giving them total peace of mind without ever having to leave the house. 🛠️🛡️
But we couldn't just stop at reliability.
