Car covers promise a cleaner, better-protected car. But are they worth the fitting, folding, storing and refitting — especially when you just want to go for a drive? In this video I look at the practical trade-offs, and ponder whether putting a cover on your car make you less likely to use it.

Join me for a walkaround tour of this lovely Z32 Nissan 300ZX, a car so pretty that Lamborghini decided to borrow the headlights! I run through some of the technical innovations and the highlights of an impressive endurance racing career on track.
