🏍️Starting today, we are asking all motorcyclists to remove their helmets and prepay for fuel before pumping (unless you're a regular and when you take your helmet off and the cashiers recognise you).

We love our local riding community. However, we have experienced a high number of fuel drive-offs recently, particularly from motorcyclists (24 this month alone involving motorbikes). We appreciate that this is a minority of riders, but we don't know who will do it until after the event.

We apologise, but to keep our staff safe and protect our business, we must implement these new security measures.

Why we are making this change.
Preventing theft: Prepaying ensures all fuel is accounted for before it leaves the pump.
Staff safety: Clear visibility of faces helps our team feel secure during their shifts, as some staff have been abused by people with their helmets on as they feel they can't be recognised.
CCTV compliance: Our security cameras need a clear view of faces to identify anyone breaking the law.

We understand this adds an extra step to your journey. We truly appreciate your cooperation, patience, and understanding as we adjust to this new policy.

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional Delivery & Collection Driver to join our busy Accident Repair Centre team. The role involves collecting customer vehicles and delivering repaired vehicles back to customers safely, efficiently, and professionally.
You will be representing the business directly with customers, so excellent customer service and a professional manner are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect damaged vehicles from customers, homes, businesses, and other locations
• Deliver repaired vehicles back to customers in excellent condition
• Carry out vehicle handovers professionally and courteously
• Complete vehicle condition checks and relevant paperwork
• Maintain communication with the Bodyshop manager and CSA team regarding collections and deliveries
• Ensure vehicles are driven safely and responsibly at all times
• Keep to scheduled collection and delivery times
• Maintain cleanliness and professionalism when handling
customer vehicles
Requirements
• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
• Confident driving a range of vehicles
• Previous driving or motor trade experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and well presented
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good attention to detail when inspecting vehicles

Well it may not be on the beach near Naples, but it was the closest we could do to involve all staff, as today we decided to say thank you to our amazing team and shut all sites for a bit so everyone could have lunch together. Big thanks to Pizza con Amore the pizzas were fab.
