The interior of the Jensen Interceptor is now coming together. Our brief was to use leather similar to the original, very slightly remove the 70's look which we did by introducing the pleats and the silver grey stitching, replacing the piping, finishes everything off well.

Our client is very excited at the finish and many thanks to Classic Engineering for the introduction.

We are currently undertaking the very tricky task of covering the amazing aircraft like Interceptor dashboard in matching leather so we will post the results soon.

We are progressing well with the full leather interior for the Jensen Interceptor and as requested we have posted some progress photographs plus four photos showing the work involved in recovering a single internal panel.

Thank's for the shout out boys, excellent work as always.

It has been a long winter completing the restoration of the Jensen Interceptor and our english wheel got a fair bit of use on those wheel arches.

She is off tomorrow to our friends at SPL to receive their excellent electrophoretic coating which gets this Interceptor on route to being a very special example.

The full leather interior is now in the excellent and capable hands of Classic Interiors so we will post some photos of this in the near future.

We are very pleased with the VW camper van interior which is being delivered tomorrow and we know the client is.

From refurbishing the frames, renewing the door cards and choosing the colour scheme with the client to the completion of the work it has been a lovely project.

Can't wait to see the final result.

Really interesting to have these Recaro Colour Concept seats dropped in this week particularly as they must be getting a little rare these days.

Obviously, these guys have had a bit of a hard life but Classic Interiors will soon have them looking as smart as the two VW's that their owners have.

We can't wait to show you all the finished results.

It is always interesting what you find when you start stripping seats and interiors, we once found a factory workshop manual in a Jaguar MKII door, but even the small things are interesting.

Stripping the interior of this Jensen Interceptor and preparing for a new leather fit out not only do we find that Jensen used first class foam in its vehicles but we can see when it was made to the day.
