We’ve had quite a few new followers recently and it’s been a while since we introduced ourselves 👋
My name’s Jamie, founder of Harrison Elite Valeting & Detailing.
I’ll start with the company name..my middle name is Harrison. I’ll admit to not being the most creative and struggled with a company name initially, my wife suggested I use my middle name or incorporate it somehow. With that it stuck!
I’m a huge car person, I believe you have to be to work on them all day 😅
Ever since I began learning to drive I begged my parents for a Peugeot 205 GTI as my first car, but had to settle for a much more insurance friendly Rover Metro!
I’ve owned over 30 cars over the years with many more on my ‘to own list’.
I was always very good at keeping my cars clean and quickly because known for having the cleanest in the family 💁🏻♂️
It snowballed from there as I started to become obsessed with the finer aspects of detailing.
After a lengthy spell in the world of finance Covid changed everything and I was made redundant, I took the opportunity to invest in starting my own business.
An incredibly scary thing to do starting it from scratch but something I’ll always look back on and say ‘I did that’.
It all started with an old Citroen Berlingo and some leaflet drops..fast forward 6 years and we now have our own purpose built detailing studio based in the city centre.
I won’t stand here and say I’m the best detailer in the country, I know some incredibly talented individuals.
Our sector is a little saturated but our work portfolio speaks for itself, our work ethic and personality also stand out from the rest.
All of our work is on our grid, I don’t hide behind anything and you’ll see a vast array of different vehicles from cars worth £1k to £100k!
I pride myself in creating a longstanding relationship with my customers, I have plenty whom I’ve known for many years and even socialise and play golf with!
