GMR Design Home of the GMR600 Supercharger system for V8 Vantages. It should be the antithesis of a temperamental, high-revving, racing-style, modified car.

When we resolved to develop a forced-induction automotive system for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, we started with a blank canvas, and only two design parameters:
1) The system should be of a quality and appearance that justifies its place under a bonnet bearing the Aston Martin wings.
2) It should enhance the traditional driving characteristics of an Aston Martin V8: a modern, efficient, flexible, civilised road car engine with readily-available power. More than four years of intensive development work has created a reliable system with three principal features:
The latest, exceptionally efficient, positive-displacement, non-centrifugal, Eaton TVS supercharger;
Our own Geyser water-injection charge-cooling system;
Exhaustive electronic tuning using our own proprietary software that has produced remarkable performance without interfering with any of the car’s safety systems. People tell us that the results have been worth the wait! Notwithstanding the peak power output shown on the following page, the best indicators of the quality of the design are the remarkable low-speed torque levels, the improvement in fuel economy over the standard car and the exceptionally low levels of mechanical stress-noise for a tuned engine under load.
