We very much enjoyed and were grateful for having this (fully road-legal) DBR1 replica with us for a few weeks while we carried out some work for its new owner.

It has an aluminium body and a DB4 six-cylinder engine. It is based on the Aston Martin DBR1 racing car built in 1956, most famous for its victory at the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans.

It is a pleasure to have this beautiful 1968 Aston Martin DB6 back with us at at Aston Service Dorset.

We know this particular car very well having carried out extesnive engine work a few years back. The new owner has brought it in to us for a service, check over and some improvements.

Selling on behalf of our customer, this V8 Vantage 4.3ltr in Fire Red (AST5048D) is in excellent condition, low mileage for an 18 year old car. Please note the private plate in the photos is not included and the car is currently on new age related plates. Original carbon fibre factory installed front splitter and rear diffuser. Paint colour is Fire Red, which would have been a special order colour, matching red stitching to the upholstery. 4 owners from new and always been very well cared for. The car has benefitted from a complete Vehicle Health Check by our Aston Martin Technicians, serviced prior to advertising, oil and filter change, full check over of the whole car, air filters and cabin filters replaced. New upgraded ASM hoses have been fitted, new wiper blades. Clutch re-learn and transmission oil replacement. The subframe has also been cleaned up and treated with anti-corrosion underseal to keep it protected. Obsidian Black carpets, Graphite Finish to the interior, 19inch Anthracite Wheels with TPM, Platinum Grille, HID Headlamp - Wash and Levelling, Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror, Memory Seats, Heated Front Seats, Powerfold Mirror (Memory), Seatbelt - Warm Charcoal. No outstanding recalls. Definitely worth coming and having a look, stunning colour and in excellent condition with the benefit of having had a full check over/service and extra work to the value of over 3K to give the new owner piece of mind for a lovely summer of motoring.
