Job description
Fast-fit/ Service Technician
The aim of the role will be to match the expectations of our customers, we aim to deliver a high standard of work in all aspects of the business. We need competent, honest, and dependable person to join our family run, fast paced business.
Daily Duties;
Vehicle diagnostic and repairs, Tyre replacement and repairs, Stock control, workshop maintenance and cleaning, call outs and remote work.
Summary
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible in maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles, ensuring repairs are completed to high and safe standards. Communicating and Reporting to the manager, and communicating with customers. You will utilise your core skills in mechanical knowledge, hand tools, and power tools to diagnose issues and perform repairs. We expect you to demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards while contributing to the overall productivity of our operations. Qualifications;
-Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machinery
-Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively
-Provide own hand tools
-Full UK Driver license
-Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
-Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a mechanical environment
-Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
(Optional) We also offer contract and fleet work, with the option to do after-hours call-outs and remote work using a company van. Each call-out is worth a minimum of £50. We will contact you with the job details, and you will be expected to promptly attend the job. Afterward, you will need to fill out a worksheet with the details, signed by the customer or driver.
Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Pay: £27,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
