Here's a bit of panel beating we have done recently..

These are rear wings from a Bristol 400. The early photos show repairs made to the steel wings and the later photos show us creating the first of two aluminium stone guards for the lower front sections. These have to fit perfectly over the bottom of the wings and have a lot of shape so are quite a challenge.

We recently had the pleasure of working this 1926 Frazer Nash fast tourer.

It came in for some specific repairs and a good check over. Having diagnosed multiple issues we were able to dive in to some repairs including worn out bushes and a steering box rebuild. This was all rounded off with a test drive (the best bit) and several small adjustments.

You may have noticed that I haven't been doing many posts recently..
I have two reasons why:

1-- We've been really busy and finding time is hard..
2-- on the 30th of November 2024, I bought an austin seven. Lots of my customers have seen it.

I love Vintage cars and work on quite a few for various customers so having my own was an obvious choice.

Here are some photos of the car from the day I fetched it up to now. I am planning to post some photos of the detailed work I have carried out on it over the coming months.

The car is not yet finished but is on the road and works. Massive thanks to the folks who have helped me along the way. You all know who you are.

Today's work involved completing the very last welding repair on the MkVI Bentley from a previous post (which has been a major job). This removable wheel arch trim has return/rolled edges so an added layer of difficulty when making my repair sections..

I will sort through the photos of work on the actual car and post those in due course.
