When the heat ramps up like it has this week it really exposes tyre performance. Cheap Economy tyres usually get found out this time of year as their deep tread will wear more rapidly when exposed to the extreme conditions. It reminds us about the difference between those tyres and those that have more value such as the TUV certified FDR606 On Road Drive tyre by Fortune.

 

The FDR606 is different to most given it is manufactured with a Dual Compound Tread combining two layers of different rubber. The top compound provides high abrasion resistance whilst the compound offers cooling attributes to help sustain 'cool running' - improving longevity as well as providing low rolling resistance when finally exposed to the road.

The FDR606 is designed for 'On-Road' applications and is proven to deliver results on UK infrastructure. Interestingly the performance data is illustrating that it is not just delivering outstanding mileage on our roads, but the sleek directional design is also providing a great compromise on Rolling Resistance, something that is a hot topic with the current fuel prices. With all-season traction, enhanced durability, and serviceability this tyre is built to go the distance.
