I've come to appreciate that repairing and resealing battery packs is a delicate skill, almost an art form.

Something I would like to share and show our quality of work

This is just one vital stage in a repair of any battery pack to ensure it is water tight and sealed correclty.
It involvs certain methods to remove the top cover without any extensive damage.

These battery cases are not designed to be diamanted several times due to material stretch and Fatigue.

When the HV field mate seal is failing it allows water ingress to enter the main HV connection between vehicle and battery pack

Unfortunately this vehicle required major repairs which could have been avoided and not costly

Question we are often asked about the large drive unit is coolant delete really that necessary

It’s not just coolant delete which is necessary but an internal inspection of the drive unit to identify any issues early to prevent major failure

With the coolant delete modification we inspect any internal oil leaks which further down the line could be harmful to your drive unit and result in unwanted replacement

Corrosion on drive unit oil filters are becoming more frequent issue

Error usually appears “powertrain requires service “
Do not ignore this message your drive unit could be running on low or no oil

If any corrosion is noticed it’s best to take action early and avoid any further repair costs like oil pumps ect…
