Choosing carefully could save your life!

On 20 January 2024, Bikers Lifestyle Ltd was fined a total of £10,194 for supplying unsafe helmets and eyewear. The judgement followed test purchases and analysis by DVSA.

Make sure you get any safety products from a reputable supplier and check they have the correct markings. This means they’ve been through rigorous checks and will protect you in the event of an accident.

Just because products are on the market, it doesn’t mean they are safe or legal.

What to look for:

✅ a label on the chin strap with an ‘E’ marking
✅ manufacturer’s name or trademark and the size on the outer shell

What to avoid :
