🎉 Happy Birthday Megan! 🎉

Megan has been part of the Happy Hares family for quite some time, first joining us as a student and now recently qualifying as a practitioner and becoming lunch cover and bank staff! It’s been so lovely to watch her confidence grow and see her blossom into the brilliant practitioner that she is! ✨

Megan is kind, caring and incredibly patient, she has such a lovely way with the children and is particularly good at welcoming and supporting the SEND children and new starters, as they settle into nursery life. Although, Megan can be shy, we’ve loved watching her come out of her shell and grow in confidence- and we know there’s no much more to come. Thank you so much for all your hard work!🌸

Today we’re also wishing a very happy birthday to our small but mighty Kaley! 💕🐰

Kaley is incredibly well organised, knows the nursery routines inside and out, and is absolutely brilliant within our baby room. She has also stepped into her role as Deputy Manager amazingly well, taking on the extra responsibilities with confidence and becoming a fantastic support to the whole team. 🌟

We’re so lucky to have Kaley as such a valued member of the Happy Hares team and really appreciate everything she brings to the nursery each day. 💗

Louise is quite simply the person who keeps so much of Happy Hares going. She works incredibly hard, always goes above and beyond and is there for absolutely everything — from the day-to-day running of the nursery to supporting the children, staff and our families. Her dedication and commitment to Happy Hares never goes unnoticed. 🌟

She’s also full of great ideas, always thinking of new ways to make things better, and brings so much fun and laughter to our days along the way! 💗

We’re so lucky to have Louise at the heart of our Happy Hares family and are incredibly grateful for everything she does!

🍂 Hello September! 🍂

A new month means new adventures, new experiences and plenty of opportunities to hop, play & grow! 🐇🌱

Autumn is on its way- we’re looking forward to autumn days exploring the changing seasons and watching our little ones continue to learn and flourish. So it’s almost time to dig out those wellies, cosy jumpers and waterproofs- we’re ready for muddy puddles, more outdoor adventures and all the fun that comes with autumn 🍁🌧️

September is always a special time for us as we continue to welcome lots of new children and families into our Happy Hares Family. We know that starting nursery is a big step, filled with lots of emotions for both children and parents/carers, and we’re looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you, helping everyone to feel safe, settled and happy ☺️

A massive Happy Hares welcome to all our new starters! We’re so excited to begin this journey with you and can’t wait to see all the wonderful memories we’ll make together! 🐇💙

Forest School & Park Adventures 🌳🛝

On Friday, we had a fantastic forest school session where Trina cooked our whole lunch on the fire, the children absolutely loved watching their meal being prepared outdoors!

Hot dogs, Chips & Corn on the cob were on the menu and everyone sat so well together enjoying a real forest school lunch experience 🌭🍟

Our 2-year-olds have recently enjoyed a trip to the park for a picnic and play. They all sat together so nicely for their snack before making the most of their play time. The children were busy climbing, balancing, exploring, taking appropriate risks, building their confidence and developing their gross motor skills along the way☀️🛝

There were lots of fresh air, independence and happy little faces! 🥰

We have another Birthday to celebrate today and it’s a very special one as our wonderful Keira celebrates her 21st! ✨

Keira is a valued member of our Tweenie Room, although you will also find her lending a hand across all the rooms at nursery. She’s hardworking, always happy to help out doing whatever is needed and nothing is ever too much trouble. Her calm, caring nature makes her brilliant with our littles ones and her infectious laugh always keeps us smiling!

✨ What a wonderful evening we had at our Graduation & Garden Party! ✨

A huge thank you to all of our amazing parents and carers for your continued support, for contributing to the food, and for helping to make the evening so special. We hope you all had a fantastic time celebrating with us in the sunshine! ☀️🎶

A big thank you also goes to our fantastic entertainer Merlin Cadogan, the excellent Devon Science • Science Shows, Parties & Workshops for the super science, our brilliant photographer Jayne Poole Photography for capturing so many precious pictures of our little ones, and the wonderful C&A’s Ice creams ice cream van hire north Devon for keeping everyone smiling with a sweet treat!🍦📸🎉

As we begin to say goodbye to some of our wonderful graduates school leavers over the coming weeks, our hearts are filled with both pride and sadness. Watching you grow, learn and flourish has been such a privilege, and we know you are all ready for your next exciting adventure. We wish each and every one of you the very best as you start school—you will always be a part of the Happy Hares family, and we will miss you all 💙
