We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Garage Technician to join our busy workshop team at AST Aylesbury. MUST HAVE TO HAND FULL DRIVERS LICENSE

Salary: £33,000 – £40,000 per year depending on experience and knowledge.

Hours: 8-6 Monday to Friday and a odd Saturday if needed

We are looking for someone who is:

* Hard-working and reliable
* Keen to learn and develop skills in the motor trade
* Passionate about vehicle maintenance and repair
* Able to work well as part of a team

The role may involve:

* Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
* Assisting with repairs and part replacements
* Learning vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
* Tyres, brakes, suspension, and exhaust work
* Keeping the workshop clean and organised
* Working alongside experienced technicians on a variety of vehicles

Skills and experience you’ll be learning:

* Safe use of garage tools and equipment
* Mechanical and diagnostic skills
* Problem-solving and fault-finding techniques
* Vehicle inspection procedures
* Time management and workshop organisation
* Customer service and teamwork within a professional garage environment

AST Aylesbury is looking for a skilled and motivated MOT Tester to join our busy workshop team. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional, fast-paced garage environment alongside experienced technicians working on a wide range of vehicles.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who is:

* Reliable, hard-working, and professional
* Qualified MOT Tester with a valid MOT licence
* Passionate about vehicle safety and maintenance
* Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools

Duties May Include

* Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
* Identifying and reporting vehicle defects accurately
* Vehicle servicing and general maintenance work
* Assisting with repairs and fault finding when required
* Working on brakes, suspension, tyres, and exhaust systems
* Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and safe

Skills and Experience Required

* Valid MOT Tester qualification/licence
* Good mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work to high standards and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
* Experience in servicing and repair work preferred
* Good communication and teamwork skills
