After the success of our first apprenticeship placement from Ashington College, we’re excited to welcome another student—George—who will be with us for one week as part of his Level 2 Mechanics course.

Birthday shoutout to Alex at Castle Island Cars & Commercials/Castle Island Service & Repair Centre Ltd!
Alex, our college work placement student, turns 19 today! He originally joined us for a 2-week placement but enjoyed it so much, he came back voluntarily over the Easter holidays.

Today might be his last day with us as he heads back to college to finish his course, and we just want to say—it’s been an absolute pleasure having you with us, Alex.

Best of luck with your exams—we’re sure we’ll see you again in the future!

Exciting News at Castle Island Service and Repair Centre!

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Northumberland College, offering work experience placements for students pursuing careers in mechanics. Our goal is to support these students in achieving their aspirations and becoming qualified professionals in the field.

Today, we are pleased to welcome Alex, our first student, who will be with us for the next two weeks. We’re excited to provide him with hands-on experience and guidance, helping him succeed in his course and take the next steps toward his career goals.
