A customer of mine purchased this vehicle not long ago, but before returning the vehicle to the garageit was sold from, my customer wanted me to take a look so nothing could be covered up by the garage.
My customers complaint was a vibration knocking noise when reversing slowly. After a quick inspection I found the gearbox mount bolt had no nut on the end and as you can see in the photo...the bolt has nearly fallen out.
I suspect the vehicle had a clutch before point I'd sales and the bolt and nut was not tightened therefore allowing the nut to drop off and the bolt vibrate its way out.
