What is part of a full valet and why is it priced at what it’s priced at?

A full valet is essentially, an exterior detail consisting of a pre wash, all wheels including tyres and arches individually cleaned. Followed up by your traditional shampoo wash, multiple buckets to mitigate scratching and swirls.

Once the paint work is as clean as possible, all fallout and tar spots are then removed from the paint work using a spot treatment process. This ensures that the paint work is not only clean to look at but clean literally in the sense that it is super soft and glossy to touch.

The vehicle is then coated in a spray sealant which will allow the car to repel water, general grime, brake dust etc a lot easier than bare paint work. This also means the car stays cleaner for longer but is also easier to clean next time. The vehicle is the dried off, tyres dressed, glass cleaned and looking as perfect as the day you got it.

Inside is fully dependant on the up interior make up that you have, leather seats? If so they will get a full scrub down and condition to bring them back to Matt finish and factory standard. If your seats are fabric, Alcantara, suede etc then the approach is different however the seats are brought back to as fresh as possible. Inclusive of a shampoo. Then all plastics, intricate areas, centre console is all steam cleaned to ensure that the surface is sanitised. All carpets get freshened up with a carpet shampoo and steam to release all embedded dirt, sand and bits that have built up over time. Finally a second vacuum of the entire car just to pick up any little bits that the steamers has blasted out.

🔨 Something a little different from the usual work!

A change from the usual valeting and detailing posts, but it’s always good to get stuck into something different!

A returning customer recently mentioned that she was looking to have some garage racking installed to make better use of her storage space, so I was more than happy to help.

What initially looked like a straightforward installation came with a few challenges!

🛠️ The work involved:

* Assembling and positioning all five racking units.
* Overcoming a garage floor that was approximately 40–50mm out of level.
* Carefully packing and levelling the units to ensure everything lined up correctly.
* Securing the racking to the blockwork walls using suitable masonry fixings for added stability.

The end result is a tidy, practical storage setup that makes much better use of the available space.

I’m really pleased with how this one turned out, especially given the uneven floor!
