Anyone out there starting up a part worn tyre business? I have around 300 very good tyres I’m looking to get out of my lockup for free to take away. It’s all the tyres not just the ones you want. Everything from 12” up to 22”. As you can see by the pictures my roof came in with the weight of the snow and I need to clear it for the roofers to get in. Please PM me if your interested. It’s a fantastic start for you and a great way to make money for free.

Hi folks. After failing my van mot on the 19th of December on my handbrake by 2% I finally got a cancellation spot in Peterhead for a retest today and passed. No advisory’s on the test in December but failed on the handbrake, that’s after changing the discs - pads and shoes at the rear. I found that my handbrake cables were stretching when applying the handbrake. I’ve had to wait until today to get it retested due to Daf trucks in Aberdeen burning down last year every company is trying to get mot tests where ever they can with resulted in a backlog of mot’s.
So after almost two months off I just wanted you all to know I’m back on the road and ready to attend to your car problems. Just send me a text and I will get you booked in.

Hi to all my customers. Just a small text to put all your minds at rest. Yes I was diagnosed in December with blood cancer and a dark shadow over my right lung, but for those who know me well you will know that this will not stop me from doing what I love which is working on cars, so please don’t hesitate to contact me for your motoring requirements. As I was told by a wise man, I’m living with cancer and not dying of it. I will still continue to live life to the best of my ability.

Hi folks. Just an update to all my customers. I’ve been off work for the past five weeks with what my doctor suspected was a kidney infection, my blood tests are still ongoing and I’m still in some discomfort which I can handle and will be back to work tomorrow regardless. My first couple of days will be playing catch-up with those customers who waited for me, thank you for that..
I will still be taking bookings for this week and beyond.

Had a call out this morning as the customer said her brakes were grinding, after seeing the colour of the wheel a thought yup her rear pads were done. After removing the wheel I found this, not just the pad was worn down but the backing plate for the pad itself had also gone. The car was braking with the calliper against the disc.
If you think your brakes may be done, give me a call to check them or take it to a garage to check. Don’t put it off until you lose your brakes completely and can’t stop, especially if you have your kids in the car each day.
