It’s time to reflect on our annual pilgrimage to Boxengasse in Oxfordshire for the Megaphonics Porsche show 🏁

We always look forward to Megaphonics - a brilliant two day get together at Boxengasse in Bicester, with like minded Porsche fanatics, centred around some of the world’s rarest and most interesting cars.

This is a show that never stands still - every year it moves forward and for 2026 we were treated to a new live show with guests including motorsport legend Richard Atwood, all brilliantly hosted by our good friend Paul from Renngineering.

We loved catching up with existing customers and meeting some new ones too, and enjoyed bumping into some good friends including YouTube legend Petrol Ped, to get his thoughts on what is billed as one of the world’s leading Porsche events.

Is this the coolest Porsche car park in the world!? 🌍

We love being part of the Megaphonics event hosted by Boxengasse in the UK: the breadth and depth of cars, the curation, presentation and the vibe are all unparalleled 🙌

It’s been the case in previous years that we don’t have a moment to look around, but the new two day format meant that Jonny was able to escape our stand for a moment to check out the event and to capture some thoughts on the cars away from centre stage, over in the Porsche parking.

It was wonderful to see the Evoluto 'development' car on display at the London Concours — refreshed in a beautiful blue over porcelain leather seats with Tricolore stripes, and ready to head off to Asia for a handful of lucky customers and test‑driving journalists.

When is a Restomod not a Restomod?

This new creation - engineered by the team at is officially licensed by Ford, using new body shells. Not restored. Not a Restomod.

That makes it a ‘Continumod’…

However it is categorised, we loved seeing it in the flesh, and sitting in the cabin the finishes and surfaces are really nicely considered and executed.

We can’t wait to see and hear it out in the road - that 330hp 10k revs motor and 895kg should make for a lively driving experience 🏁

day 1 - Porsche Perfection 📸

The first day of the London Concours featured a ‘Porsche Perfection’ display curated by our good friends

Luckily the sun shone through the clouds in the afternoon and we were treated to a flourish of colour on the Sonderwunsch concours class, highlighting some of Stuttgarts finest creations.

The London Concours is held in a unique green oasis in the heart of the city creating a great backdrop for a range of fabulous cars. It makes for a great day out - if you can make it down there in the next couple of days, do it!

Land Rover Defender A/C in stock and ready to go - shipping now! 📦

The first batch of Land Rover Defender have now left Classic Retrofit HQ, destined to be installed in Europe, Africa, and the United States 🌍

Workshop Thursday update (yes, we know! 😂)

We started bright and early with a customers rather lovely 965 in Guards red, in for some diagnostics on an A/C install. Lots of ground covers today and geat to meet the owner!

We also took the opportunity to use the ‘other works van’ (the 911 SC) to drop a A/C system to our neighbours which is going into a flat nose 911.

In the workshop we continue to build up Land Rover Defender stock, as well as topping 911 condenser and fan assemblies. 🔧

Our mechanical engineer joined us on the shop floor to button up the prototype 911 ‘gen2.5’ blower evaporator in time for some hot weather testing.☀️

Behind the scenes, the phones, website and order books are as hot as the UK weather right now, with a record month on the books, so a huge THANK YOU goes out to everyone that supports us and buys our products.🙌

Please be sure to check lead times when ordering, A/C systems are still at 4 weeks from payment. 🏁
