The Panhard 24 was called “24” in reference to Le Mans. It was equipped with a flat twin, not particularly sporty. It was available in different body styles. Firstly, the CT and C (coach 4 seats and coupé 2+2). Then came the 25cm extended body, with 5 seats available in different versions (B, BA, BT).

🇫🇷 Citroën C3 Pluriel
2003 - 2010

The Citroen C3 Pluriel was released in 2003. With its bright colours and the possibility of being fully openable, it was referring to the Mehari. It was available with 3 engines : 1.4L HDi - 70hp, 1.4i - 75hp, and 1.6i 16v - 110hp. Unfortunately, the most powerful engine was only available with a Sensodrive automatic gearbox, which is not known to be the most reliable.

Any owner will tell you that the problems of closing the soft top, the problems of waterproofing the roof and the impracticality of the roof arches convinced them to get rid of it. Despite this, I have to admit that it irrationally interests me, perhaps also because it’s still affordable. Its shortcomings may be not acceptable in an everyday car, but perhaps less so in a leisure car, and some of them seem solvable.

What do you think? Any feedbacks?

This model is powered by a 1.4 70hp diesel, definitely not the one I would choose 😛

One more, you’ll tell me ! But I quite like this particular model produced between 1986 and 1990. It has nice specs: orange indicators, sunroof, leather seats, and of course, the 130hp engine.

🇫🇷 Peugeot 106 Griffe
“Un constructeur sort ses Griffes”
The 106 Griffe was in the continuity of the 205 Gentry, AX Exclusive, Super 5 Baccara. It was provided with a full leather interior, very luxurious. Surprisingly, it’s life was short, between 1994 and 1996. Not continued after the facelift in 1996. It had a 1.6L with 90hp which was reasonable for the period.
Surprisingly, there is not much literature about it !
Personally, I quite like these gold rims, it reminds me of the Clio Williams (not comparable of course 😏).
