Oh what a trip ! I knew the Viking Rally would be an adventure but I quite didn’t grasp the size of it till we were halfway through it. Met some amazing human beings and reconnected with others , drove through some of the most amazing landscapes I’ve been given the opportunity to witness in my lifetime. And put the good ol’ ML through the paces. This 20+ year old SUV has really impressed me more than I could imagine. I always thought of it as a soccer mom type vehicle, but with the help of its low range gears and formidable Offroad tires, it was really up to the daunting challenges facing us in the snow, mud, rocks or water !
It used to be just a display piece in my museum, it’s now part of the family and I can’t wait till the next opportunity for it to show me what it’s capable of !
