Dear customers starting from the new year 2013 E.C. According The Federal Transport of ethiopia authority electronic speed governing (ESG) devices is mandatory in order to take vehicle inspection certificate for All vehicles Code 5,4,3&2 plate numbers.

Road Speed Limiters were developed to improve safety and the environment by controlling the speed of vehicles, thus reducing serious accidents and pollution. The basic function of the system is to limit the maximum speed of a vehicle to a pre-set level without affecting any of the performance of the vehicle.

History of vehicle inspection
Vehicle inspection was begun in the United States with a voluntary inspection program conducted in the State of Massachusetts during the year 1926. This was followed in the year 1927 when the governors of New York, Massachusetts, and Maryland proclaimed "Save a Life" campaigns. In these campaigns, motor vehicle owners had their automobiles voluntarily inspected and repairs of faulty equipment made by designated garages.
During the years 1928 and 1929, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware joined this program. In 1929, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware enacted laws requiring periodic vehicle inspection in officially designated inspection garages or service stations.
In 1957, the Texas Department of Public Safety was reorganized and the State was divided into six regions. The Vehicle Inspection Program has been continuously improved administratively and has attained a position of respect with the citizens of Texas. Nationally, Each vehicle must be inspected prior to being registered.

ብ 1926 ዓ.ም ኣብ ሕብራት ኣሜርካ ናይ ተሽከርካሪ ምርመራ ንምሃብ ፍቃደኛታት ብዝኮኑ ዉልቀ ሰባት ኣገልግሎት ምዉሃብ ተጀሚሩ ካብኡ ድማ ብተከታታሊ ብ 1927 ዓ.ም ኣብ ኒዉየርክን ሜሪላንድን ቀፂሉ ሰብ ተሽከርከርቲ ድማ ብዉልቀ ተላዓዒሎም ምርመራ ምግባር ጀሚሮም ብድሕሪኡ ድማ መንግስቲ ትኩረት ሂቡ ክሰርሐሉ ጀሚሩ፡፡
ካብ 1928 ክሳብ 1929 ድማ ኣብ ፔንሴሌቭያ ፣ ኒዉጀርስን ዴልዋርን ቀፂሉ ብድሕሪኡ ሜሪላንድን ፔንሴሌቭያ ሕጋዊ ናይ ተሽከርካሪ መመርመሪ ጋራጃት ብምዉፃእ ከይዲ ምርመራ ቀፂለን መንግስቲዉን ኣብ ናይ መኪና ምርመራ ከይዲ ሕጊ ብምዉፃእ ናይ ተሽከርካሪ ምርመራ ንኩለን ተሽከርከርቲ ግዴታ ከምዝኮነ ኣፅዲቁ፡፡
ብ 1957 ኣብ ቴክሳስ ናይ ህዝቢ ድሕንነት ክፍሊ ናይ ተሽከርካሪ ዓመታዊ ምርመራ ናብ ሹድሽተ(6) ከልላት ተከፋፊሉ ንክግበር ኣብ ሕድሕድ ክልላት ናይ ተሽከርካሪ መመርመሪ ትካላት ንክክፈታን ምርመራ ንክህባን ኣዊጁ ብድሕሪኡ ተሽከርካሪ ምርመራ እንዳተመሓየሸ መፂኡ ኩለን መካይን ቅድሚ ናይ ተሽከርካሪ ስራሕ ፍቃድ ምሕዳሸን ምርመራ ክገብራ ጀሚረን፡፡
