987 anyone?
We said we wouldn't release this until the prototype was finished.... but after so much mid engine porsche action this weekend, here it is.
Its not totally finished re-design. We have v2 and v3 front bumpers also. We have a full aero kit already designed but not yet exactly right. The rear bumper is now 3d printed but not on the car.
Loads more to come on this but something so our plans are clear.
Kit should be completed by new year... and in production before February.
These renders and a mountain of "try this and try that" by the brilliant MAG. Literally years of work from Magnus. Massive thanks to him. Had to pick up the work started by another designer who had to leave us half way through too. Not easy and a very long process to this point.
The prototype will be getting weekly updates from this point. Even a rework on the front fenders by hand which we will video and talk everyone through.
We are hoping to turbo this car as we have dreams of wastegate chatter on every gear shift.... and if anyone has a 987 already you will know how good these are to drive.
We understand if this is "too much" for some people.... but we just felt the mid engine platform should have more than some bolt on fender flares.
Full longtail, widebody is our approach.
