- Oxygen sensor
What is the function of the oxygen sensor?
Measuring the percentage of oxygen in the exhaust coming out to the shakman, through which the ECU knows whether the mixture is rich or poor.
All modern cars rely on electronic systems, which is a processing unit (ECU) that drives a set of sensors, valves and electric motors within the vehicle.
We will talk about the oxygen sensor due to its importance in saving fuel exchange.
This sensor reads the ratio of the mixture of air and fuel in the exhaust of the car and based on this ratio is directed to an order to increase the amount of air or fuel, if the percentage of fuel is low, an order is directed to the treatment unit to open the fuel valves (nebulizers) for a longer period to increase the amount of fuel in the combustion chamber, but if the percentage of air is small, an order is directed to the treatment unit to open the idle valve to pass a larger amount of air to the combustion chamber.
- When do I replace my oxygen sensor?
The life span of this sensor is 160,000 km in modern cars, where it must be replaced to maintain the efficiency of the car's work and expenses, as it is not necessary to ignite the engine light to replace it.
- Tps throttle sensor
The Tps throttle sensor in cars is one of the most important parts that exist, which leads to many damages to the car engine if it is damaged.
The most important symptom of damage to this sensor in the car is the appearance of the engine check lamp on the instrument panel, in addition to the appearance of other problems in the car engine as a result of damage to this sensor
It is an increase in the speed of rotation of the engine, as well as a clear failure inside the automatic gearbox.
