The summer holidays are coming to an end, but the autumn NLS race season at the Nürburgring is starting on 12.-13. September 2026.
We had a dry and hot summer in Germany and in autumn - with non stable weather during the races - it's a bigger challenge to reach a good result.
Sun and rain, warm or cold temperatures - everything can happen.
But our drivers of the "Toyo Tires with ring racing Team" are always well trained and prepared.

is continuing its commitment to elite European sport: the tire manufacturer is present as a partner of the European Athletics Championships in for the eighth consecutive year.
From 10 to 16 August, leading athletes from more than 50 nations will compete at Alexander Stadium.

‚High Toyo Tires brand visibility in the stadium and on TV‘

Throughout the seven-day event, Toyo Tires will enjoy high visibility around the track and across the field events. Large-format LED boards and permanent logo displays at the long jump, high jump, hammer throw and shot put areas will put the brand firmly in the spotlight. The Toyo Tires logo will also feature on the interview backdrop during televised interviews.

The European Athletics Championships will receive extensive coverage on television and social media throughout Europe. This will enable the sponsorship to reach both fans in the stadium and a broad international audience.

The NLS7 race results from last weekend were still pending:

secured two consecutive podium finishes
in the VT2 RWD class and the SP9 class.
👏We’d like to thank the drivers and mechanics of the Tires with Ring Racing Team for this achievement.
Of course, the Proxes tyres also performed perfectly on both cars.

For anyone who missed what happened at the Nürburgring on 1 August:

TOYO TIRES competed under the name ‘TOYO TIRES with Ring Racing’ and finished 11th overall in the [SP9] class, as well as securing a podium finish in the [VT2-RWD] class for the second time in a row!

In the top [SP9] class, the line-up comprised Yuichi Nakayama, TOYO TIRES brand ambassador for the flagship ‘PROXES’ brand, and two German drivers: Andreas Gülden and Tim Sandtler, who already have experience as series champions in the [SP10] class.
The specially developed ‘PROXES’ racing tyres were perfectly matched to the Mercedes-AMG.

In the [VT2-RWD] class, Takuma Miyazono, who is also an employee of TOYO TIRES Corporation, took part.

Whilst more than half of the participating cars retired, Takuma Miyazono and Hitoshi Horino drove with unwavering concentration right to the finish, securing a podium place for the second time in a row!

The next races will take place on Saturday 12 September and Sunday 13 September as part of the “NLS8” and “NLS9” series.
