Gianni. The that every driver knows in person, seen it or heard of it. Something was not working with this painting. I restarted it a few times, then put it aside to get more hunger to finalize it.
I have personal relations with this and they can’t be called perfect. It has not been love from the first sight or drive. Driving this car is like playing on a violin. And I never liked violin. It’s fast , but at the same time you have to be very gentle with her.. and I am far from gentle really.. I have to admit that it looks superb, it drives interesting, but I was trying to rather invite her on a dance and she never alowed me to really touch her soul. Probably there was not enough time for me to get into her mood, but I started being angry with her and the drive became completely unpleasant.. At the same time, , the proud owner, could really make her eyes shine bright every time we drove together. With him she was really showing her best sides. Benny says it’s Gianni, a guy, but that’s definitely a lady. She, the Alfa, has her own character, her mood and you have to enjoy this game and respect her. But as it always happens, I fell in love with this car, when I finished the painting. Beautiful, elegant, incredibly fast and well kept by the driver and the owner. Happy birthday and a happy New Year dear friend!

• not sure you would read all this, but it’s worth reading really..

In general, such things are done in 1-2 evenings... but I just didn’t have any desire... at all. And then something just dawned on me.
I took the watercolors out of the closet, found an old shabby suitcase with brushes and paper, tools and patterns, and came across this work.
The music in my ears stopped being heard after 7 minutes... it was playing, but I couldn’t hear it anymore. Water spilled over the old work made it surprisingly contrasting and unusual. These 5 years of heaviness and turmoil had to be ended by patiently pouring out water, laying out more and more layers of paint on paper.
While waiting for the paper to dry, I let these damn 5 years pass through me... I became completely deaf. The music was hitting my ears, but I didn’t hear it at all. I really wanted to smoke, but you can’t smoke, you can only roll it.. I don’t remember how many ci******es I rolled.. I remember that I came to my senses when I heard birds singing outside the window. The sun rose and a new day began, and I sat with red eyes and tried to love this mess of paints and water-swollen paper. There was a lot of spilled to***co and a mountain of rolled ci******es on the table.
The watercolor had to be put aside again. A nasty feeling of incompleteness and lack of desire appeared. I never went to smoke. Fatigue enveloped me in a holey blanket of heaviness. Fell to sleep in thought. Three hours later I got a lift and started writing furiously. I pulled out the foreground and dimmed the distant one... I don’t remember anything else. I only remember that I carefully wrote the letters PORSCHE on the hood... these were the finishing touches. •
