You know the kind of mornings. With little droplets of water covering everything. Including your car's engine and ignition. They're the kind of mornings we had in mind when we designed the electronic ignition that is standard in every 1973 Fury. It has no points or condenser to get wet or wear out. It practically eliminates tune-ups. And to keep the silence of those cold, gray monrings, we made th
is the quietest Fury ever built. We installed new seals around the doors and windows to quiet a wind stream that can reach hurricane velocity. We used pads and sound deadeners to quiet the noise of the road. We even designed new clamps and couplers to subdue rattles. Along with all the improvements we made, there are a lot of things we didn't change. For example we didn't change the size. Fury is still a big, full-size car with plenty of room for six. And we mainatined the torsion-bar suspension system for control and a smooth ride. That's all part of the beauty of the new Plymouth Fury. The other part? Take a look at the way we styled it this year. We not only built this car to last longer than ever before; we built it to look better than ever before. We think you'll like that, too.
