One day, we will tell our grandchildren that roads used to be dangerous.

Every goodbye came with a quiet kind of worry.

We refuse to accept accidents as an inevitable side effect of mobility. From active crash prevention to occupant protection, from intuitive HMIs and driver monitoring to vulnerable road user safety – we are building the technologies that will make Vision Zero feel less like a distant goal and more like a story from the past.

This is how we are changing the story of road safety.

Great to have been part of the 18th CCC Plugfest, connecting, testing, and shaping the future together.

Hosted by DEKRA in Klettwitz, the event once again brought together OEMs, smartphone manufacturers, and technology partners to validate digital key solutions in real-world scenarios.
For us, it was an important milestone to ensure seamless interoperability across vehicles, smartphones, cloud platforms, and mobility services.

One highlight:
👉 We tested our latest Digital Key solution (Release 4) live in a vehicle, not just in a lab environment.

This marks an important step forward, expanding from private vehicle use cases to B2B applications such as fleet management, while ensuring the solution performs reliably in real environments.
Testing together in realistic scenarios allows us to identify challenges early, refine implementations, and ensure compatibility across a wide range of devices and platforms.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to keep driving this forward together, making digital access more secure, scalable, and easier to integrate.

Trust won’t come from better autonomy alone; it will come from vehicles that truly understand us.

At the STADT:up final event in Aldenhoven, we showcased how human-centered innovation is shaping the future of automated driving.

Our empathic in-cabin assistant analyzes driver state in real time, from gaze and facial expressions to heart rate, delivering situation-aware support exactly when it is needed. Combined with AI models that estimate trust and comfort, and an avatar that provides intuitive guidance, the system becomes a true “driving buddy” that informs, reassures, and helps reduce unnecessary takeovers.

At the same time, autonomy depends on reliability. Our Level 4 test vehicle demonstrates how a robust energy architecture ensures stable, speed-independent power, enabling predictable uptime and faster validation.

We also demonstrated automated driving in complex urban scenarios, handling uncertainty and obstacles with confidence thanks to a high-performance sensor setup.

👉 The key takeaway: The next leap in autonomous driving will be defined by human understanding and real-world reliability.

AI is evolving faster than the way we talk about it.

Becoming an AI‑empowered company is not about adding more tools. It’s about enabling people and processes to create real, measurable value with AI.
And that’s where the real challenge lies: technology moves fast; social dialogue doesn’t. If we want AI to scale responsibly, we need to actively close that gap.

AI creates value in real use cases, real work environments, and real teams. But transformation is not one-dimensional. With ai:conomics, we take a dual perspective: looking at business and organizations, as well as people and their work. Both matter, and they are not the same.

This is also where the “employability paradox” becomes visible: while organizations must invest in skills at scale, responsibility cannot rest on individuals or companies alone. Shaping the future of work is a shared task.

Last week in Maastricht, at the 40-year celebration of ROA at Maastricht University, we discussed exactly this at the intersection of science, policy, and business. Together with Maastricht University, we are accompanying our M365 Copilot rollout with surveys and interviews to generate scientific evidence for responsible AI scaling.

We’re on a strong path, working with partners across academia, policy, and industry to better understand, shape, and scale AI in a way that creates real value. For business and people alike.

Looking back to a successful EuroBrake 2026 with a lot of valuable discussions, many insights and our very first AUMOVIO booth at EuroBrake.

During this congress we were able to connect strongly with our partners, suppliers, OEMs and interested visitors. As a team we made this event one of a kind.

With our latest brake technologies, we gave visitors the opportunity to experience our newest electromechanical caliper and the “signature brake caliper” live.

Together we can shape braking innovations towards a safer future 🚀

It’s 7:30 a.m. Traffic is crawling, and your mind is already racing.

Meetings, emails and deadlines are waiting, but your attention needs to stay on the road. Your car notices subtle changes: your posture stiffens, your eyes move between mirrors and the dashboard, your grip tightens.

Before stress takes over, the car responds - without a single command.

Soft lighting helps ease your focus.
Music adapts to keep you calm yet alert.
A gentle nudge reminds you to relax your grip.

That’s cabin sensing in action.

By combining intelligent algorithms, interior radar and cameras, our cabin sensing solutions transform real-time data into insights that support safety, comfort and personalized experiences inside the vehicle.

They can help detect driver distraction and drowsiness, monitor occupants, recognize gestures and postures, track vital signs such as heart rate and breathing, and identify objects inside the cabin.

This is an important step toward the experience-defined vehicle: mobility that understands the needs of the people inside.

Different perspectives. Shared ambition.

On the United Nations' World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, we recognize the people who shape how we work, collaborate, and move forward as a global company.

We bring together colleagues from more than 100 nationalities who collaborate across countries, functions, and teams. Their diverse perspectives, experiences, and ways of thinking foster innovation, support robust decision-making, and contribute to sustainable business performance.

But cultural diversity is not only about where we come from. It is also about how we engage with one another: with openness, curiosity, and respect.
Together, we are building a culture where different perspectives are valued and where dialogue helps us grow as one global team.

Award-winning innovation for e-mobility. 🏆

Our eRTS, the e-motor rotor temperature sensor, has been recognized as “Product of the Year” in the Automotive category by the German trade magazine Elektronik.

The sensor was selected as one of the most exciting and outstanding innovations of the past year.

What makes it special?
eRTS measures temperature directly in the rotor of permanent magnet synchronous motors. This offers a significantly more precise alternative to conventional algorithm-based calculation models – reducing the tolerance range from 15 to just 3 degrees Celsius.

This can help improve EV performance, support a more efficient use of rare earths and reduce overall system costs.

The award is also a strong recognition of the work done in our E-Mobility Sensors product center, where we bring together expertise and innovation for sensor technologies supporting the next generation of electric vehicles.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this achievement. 👏
