Just in time before the race’s opening break at the Défi Paprec, Ivica Kostelic received his new gadget.

Conditions were absolutely wild — the kind that immediately put both sailor and equipment to the test. It’s the perfect moment to see what Sailproof is really made of, as once again this technology is pushed straight into the harshest environment the sea can offer.

Wind, spray, constant motion… everything here in the Bay of Biscay was demanding maximum resilience. So we are happy to see how the device performs in Kostelić’s hands.
