THIS IS WHY YOUR SMART MIGHT NEED A NEW DRIVESHAFT…
A torn CV boot, grease everywhere, or a damaged ABS ring can turn into a much bigger problem on a Smart 450 or Smart Roadster 452.

This happened to my Roadster — the CV boot completely split apart, grease went everywhere, and the driveshaft was due for replacement.
In my new video, I show you how I removed the old driveshaft and replaced it with a new one.

Does anybody know where this Roadster ended up?
Smart Roadster, dressed in V6 Brabus specification, that's powered by a turbocharged 1.3-litre Toyota engine with 145hp. No, not from a V6 like the concept, but rather a four-cylinder sourced from a Toyota Starlet.
It was listed at auction back in the day for £20k

• All body panels are original from Mercedes-Benz.
• Diamond cut alloy wheels
• Hi-spec brake system throughout.
• Braided hose on brake and fuel systems.

A rare look at an early Smart Roadster prototype!
This unique development car gives us a glimpse into the Roadster before it reached production in 2003.
You can also spot many interesting parts and components shared with the Smart Fortwo, showing just how much of the Roadster’s engineering came from the Fortwo.

I FOUND THE RAREST SMART ROADSTER IN THE WORLD. 👀
Yesterday I showed you this Roadster hidden under a cover…
Today, I can finally show you what was underneath.

This is a 1 of 1 Smart Roadster, and creating it took around 1,400 hours of work.
I drove from Croatia to Slovenia to see it in person — and honestly, photos don't do this car justice.

The man behind the legendary McLaren F1 used a Smart Roadster as his daily driver for more than 13 years.

And his words about the Roadster say a lot:

“I cannot find anything else which is that small and that much fun.”

The McLaren F1 and Smart Roadster may be completely different cars, but both were designed with a strong focus on lightweight engineering and driving enjoyment.

NEW VIDEO — SMART ROADSTER EXHAUST REMOVAL
I had to remove the original exhaust from my Roadster, so I decided to show the whole process.

Can you remove the exhaust without taking the rear bumper off? Yes — and in this video I show you exactly how.

I also show the difference when the bumper is already removed, and why you might want to take the exhaust off in the first place.

If you're working on a Smart Roadster 452, this might save you some time and unnecessary work.
