No. 0/15 🔧⚡️🏁 - Production has started, and it's time for an update:

Although we indented to enter production a lot earlier, we decided to change one of our main suppliers in the final stage of testing. This is to ensure maximum reliability and quality for our bikes. It also allowed us to shorten our supply chain significantly and relocate some key components on the bike in order to improve cooling, shorten HV lines and reduce weight.
I also used the time we lost finding our new supplier to further improve our AXF500S watercooled axial flux hub motor. With an entirely new winding layout, we reach a higher fundamental winding factor and higher inductance for increased torque output. For this new version, there are currently 15 sets of CNC machined parts in production by one of our partners while we manufacture the "No. 0" bike entirely ourselves.

Furthermore, the newest building we added to our workshop is now finished and set up our CNC mill and vaccum forming machine to start production of all vacuum forming moulds and fairing components.

All in all this means: We finally pulled the trigger on the start of production and we try to keep you posted more regularly from now on.

Thanks as always for reading through this!

Cheers ✌️

A short report about our last testing session ⚡🏁

Testruns were done with two of the three battery modules installed. One old version module with 18650 cells (1.44 kWh), one of the newer generation with 21700 cells and clamped cell connections (1.73 kWh). The new battery generation showed a significant reduction of heat build-up. After 20 min of riding the old battery was up to 47°C, the new generation still at 29°C. The line amps were limited to 300A total.

Our AXF500S axial flux hub motor stayed absolutely cool throughout all testing with surface temperature of the Rotor never exceeding 40°C. Current settings for the motor were 950A and 300A for regen braking respectively.

Of course testing was done at rather low ambient temperatures of ~10-12°C. Higher temperature testing will continue in summer with our newest and final generation motor and batteries.

One problem that keeps coming up, though, is that we still use 3D prints for most of the fairings. Consequently the front fender broke on one of the larger jumps and got completely obliterated, he rear fender started cracking too, eventually. For this, however, we are currently working on a lasting solution which required us to add another building to our workshop... more info on that soon.

So as always: Stay tuned, ride safe and thanks for reading through all this! ✌

Hope y'all had a good start into 2026! For us, the first weekend of the year started with a ton of snow! ❄️ Perfect time to take the latest version of the NTRX out for a snowy ride - and it was a blast! 🤩
Also, we used the opportunity to test our new camera drone for the very first time, so stay tuned for our next reel 🤙😁

Happy holidays and an awesome new year 2026 to all of you! 🎅☃️🎆🎉

This year was the most turbulent and exiting so far and we are finally so close to entering serial production of the NTRX.

Thank you all so much for your incredible support over the past years! The have been so many setbacks and delays, ups and downs and you guys followed us through all of them! We are extremely grateful for that. Now yet a new chapter is about to start and we can't wait to bring it on!!!

Stay tuned and cheers! ✌⚡🏁

The line-up is completed! ⚡🏁

Motocross, Adventure and Supermoto - all ready for the final testing phase after we had to do one unplanned alteration on the powertrain.

Production of the main components of the motocross version is already ramping up and we are planning the first official roadshow for the start of the 2026 season.

Stay tuned, cheers! ✌

- More info below! - First ever 5x17 inch supermoto rim with double-cross-laced full length spokes on a hub motor?! Only possible with our proprietary rotor design and axial flux architecture. Time to push the limits of hub-drive capabilities⚡🏁

The structural integrity is one of the most crucial issues about hub-drives. Conventional radial flux motors need to be axially long in order to provide sufficient airgap area. Additional axial space is required for the coil overhang making the motors even wider. This way spokes can only be attached to the outer circumference of the rotor. As a result the spokes need to be way shorter than on conventional spoke wheels. As a result they can no longer provide the flexibility usually praised in spoke wheels. Also all external forces are directed through the rotor housing requiring strong and thick walled parts which increase rotational and unsprung mass.

Especially with smaller rims the spoke angles also get increasingly flat making them very hard to fit into standard rims. Some people in that case even revert to using a lacing pattern with no crossings at all. Another weak-spot and potential danger.

With the AXF 500 S it was one of our goal to make the rotor fit between the spokes. This way we can use standard rims and spoked keep our rotor almost free from external forces and keep a strong and flexible wheel structure which can handle the additional stresses arising in hub-drive configurations like no other hub motor in the world - Regardless which rim size is used from 19" on MX bikes all the way down to 17" for conventional road use!
