At IAA Transportation 2026, German Television spoke with DeepWay Software Engineer Yuanchang Ying about the vehicle’s design philosophy, electric architecture and digital experience.

From the aerodynamic wedge-shaped cab and dual e-axle layout to the minimalist cockpit and intelligent interface, the truck has been developed with a clear focus on efficiency, usability and the needs of future freight operations.

As DeepWay prepares for its planned European market launch in 2027, we continue to refine our technology for the next generation of heavy-duty transport.

Another step forward for DeepWay in Australia. 🇦🇺🚛

DeepWay Star electric truck has completed its first freight run with VCF Transport, carrying 26 tonnes of cement from West Footscray, before making an additional stop in Tarneit to collect a pallet of cardboard on the return trip.

From the first delivery to fleet-scale deployment. 🚛⚡

Since the first batch of DeepWay smart new energy heavy-duty trucks was delivered to STO Express in April 2025, the partnership has continued to expand.

By June 2026, DeepWay had completed three batches of deliveries, bringing the total number of vehicles deployed with STO Express to 171 units.

By combining DeepWay’s intelligent electric heavy-duty truck technology with STO Express’s extensive logistics network, the collaboration is accelerating the large-scale adoption of new energy trucks in real-world logistics operations and supporting a cleaner, smarter, and more efficient future for long-haul freight.
