I know you think a new job title will fix the way you feel. It didnāt for me. What helped most had nothing to do with LinkedIn, my resume or networking.
It was creating a living, breathing vision. Not a list of things to have or achieve. A picture of the life I wanted, and the work that would fit into it.
Hereās part of what went into it:
1ļøā£Values - What matters to you now, not 10 years ago. Mine are joy, connection and nature. What would a 10 out of 10 look like?
2ļøā£Feelings - How do you want to feel when you wake up, and at the end of the day? I wanted to feel excited in the morning and proud at night.
3ļøā£Strengths - What lights you up, the work youād happily do even if nobody paid you. It might be what youāre good at. It might be something else entirely.
4ļøā£Parts - Which parts of you have been running the show, and which ones are ready for more room? (Hi, Silly Sally.)
Make it about who you are and what you want now. Not what you think youāre supposed to want. It takes the pressure off, and itās a lot more fun.
Start with one thing. Finish this sentence: āTomorrow, I want to wake up feeling ___.ā
Tell me your word in the comments š and share this with someone who could use a break from the spinning. If you want the full guide comment āclarityā and Iāll send it to you
