Tow Truck Operator
MEC Towing &Transport Whitecourt AB.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an additional class 5 for our busy, growing tow truck operation in Whitecourt Alberta.
This position would be great for a semi-retired/Retired person or someone looking for some extra hours.
This position would be providing evening and weekend support. Reliability is a must.
You will be responsible for towing and emergency roadside services including deck truck towing, battery boosts, tire changes, emergency fuel deliveries, invoicing through the AMA service platform, and taking payments. This is a vital role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to work well in a team environment while operating equipment in a safe and effective manner; clean drivers abstract preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operating a tow truck using an AMA dispatch platform (training will be provided).
- Invoice clients for services in the field (training will be provided).
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of tow truck equipment
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work well in a team environment
