We were just notified that our ML24 Subaru WRX fender flares products were knocked off (identically) by someone in SoCal. Disgustingly, they even put our company name in their SKU number (STI-ML), that’s how creative they are.
They are NOT an authorized dealer of our products, and not only are they selling fakes of our products, they’re even promoting with OUR photos. We don’t need to emphasize the importance of buying from an original manufacturer – the original molds are the most accurate, fitting is guaranteed, you’re getting the best quality and finish, and you’re supporting the team of people that have spent hundreds and thousands of hours, sketching, rendering, designing, 3D laser scanning, reverse-engineering, prototyping, engineering, fabricating, etc.
We stand behind our product and we provide support for all customers that purchased our product. There are authenticity cards located behind each piece of our product with a unique serial number. We welcome anyone that is unsure if they received a knock-off fake or authentic product, to contact us to verify your serial number. This is why we do not provide support for customers that can’t provide their unique number.
As a design studio, we handle the all the R&D work, from laser scanning to prototyping, completely, 100% in-house. We can tell you exactly how much work went into the development of our products.
This happens way too often in our industry – and to too many people – I encourage everyone, enthusiasts to professionals, to buy from original makers, to buy from authorized dealers, and do your research.
