The standard Honda FL5 is already a high-performance hot hatch and hugely popular among Honda enthusiasts, but for Team ARTA, that wasn’t enough. Team principal and legend Aguri-san, together with the legendary Tsuchiya-san and the rest of the team, have reengineered the car and taken it to the next level.
The ARTA GT is no longer just a street-legal car, it’s now a track machine too. Inspired by ARTA’s Super GT 500 race car and developed directly from Team ARTA, it carries genuine motorsport DNA. Production is strictly limited to just 20 units worldwide, making it exceptionally rare.
I hope to have the chance to take this hot hatch out at the Sepang Circuit once it arrives on Malaysian soil, and I’ve also heard it may make an appearance at the Super GT Sepang round later this year.
