Interesting news - the BYD Yang Wang U9 (IMO it looks better in Chinese characters as 仰望U9), a 3000hp monster EV, has just captured the fastest lap time on the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife - a stunning 6:59.157.
Most of us will never see one of these, let alone buy one, as they'll only make 30 of them.
It's a halo car designed to show what BYD can do, really.

2 very different cars from different companies, both light and nimble with engines that spin to 9000rpm!
The S2000 feels more hardcore, especially when you wind up the motor, but the RX-8 is a really fun sports car with an addictive and silky rotary. Surprisingly good when compared with a classic roadster!
