This past weekend Rocky Mountain house CYRM hosted that last Canadian aerobatic contest of the year. Our Canadian pilots are competing for titles locally and getting ready for the World Advanced Aerobatic Championships to be held in Las Vegas in October this year. I would say Canada has a great chance of getting a top three medal this time as we are fielding one of the strongest teams in the history of aerobatic competition in Canada.

CANADIAN ADVANCED AEROBATIC TEAM MEMBERS:
These pilots will be representing Canada at the World Advanced Aerobatic Championship (WAAC) in Jean Nevada October 24th – November 4th.

I am looking forward to a summer of aviation activities at CYRM this spring and summer. We have some aviation events in the works and hopefully just a good summer enjoying flying in and around Alberta! I hope I can meet a bunch more pilots at the airport.
