Looking at any and all opinions on this, about to do a complete overhaul on cooling system. The truck is a 93 6.5. Couple things we wanted to clear up do to availability and pricing as well as weighing the pros and cons if there is any.

93 still has a rad cap on rad, where is best place to pick up replacement? maybe fully aluminum as I’ve heard a lot of negatives about the regular ones.

I have seen it’s a lot easier to pick up the post 94 rads with the pressure tank, due to us plannning keeping the truck long term would it make more sense to convert it to the other style if so has anyone done this and what does it take parts wise?

We are doing the duramax fan and clutch upgrade do to the stock set up for 93 is a 6 bolt fan. On that note which is the best water pump, leeroy, Heath, the one of diesel site.

I am in Canada so the ones that are easiest to resource here would be best.

Finally some progress on the 6.5 diesel, front brakes(caliper, rotor, pads, wheel hub assembly), exhaust cross over and pitman and idler arm. All done picking it up tomorrow.

On another note we are back up in full force for detailing so if anyone is looking to get there vehicle cleaned up or just a quick wash shoot us a message and we will get you booked in.

Time to get the fuel valve all cleaned up and put back on with some fresh fuel line. For anyone that doesn’t know this is the t valve for the water and sediment removal on the 6.5 motors.
