Well, that’s a wrap on two days of racing at Dinosaur Downs Speedway Drumheller Alberta!

Here’s how our Kings Park Speedway drivers finished Day 2:

🏁 Mike Christenson
Heat 1: 4th | Heat 2: 2nd | Feature: 2nd

🏁 Kurtis Melenchuk

Unfortunately, our friend #9 Kyle Schroeder from Sutherland Automotive Speedway had his weekend cut short yesterday, but we’re glad he was part of the adventure!

A big thank you to Dinosaur Downs Speedway for the warm hospitality and a great weekend of racing!

And a shoutout to Brian Ferguson for making the trip and capturing the action! 📸

CHECKING IN FROM DRUMHELLER – DAY #1 🏁

Our Kings Park Speedway racers are at Dinosaur Downs Speedway Drumheller Alberta in Drumheller, Alberta, and Day 1 certainly wasn’t short on excitement!

Kurtis Melenchuk finished 3rd in the feature after placing 3rd and 5th in his heats, while Mike Christenson finished 4th in the feature with 2nd-place finishes in both heats.

Joining them is our friend #9 Kyle Schroeder from Sutherland Automotive Speedway. Unfortunately, Kyle’s weekend came to an early end during the second heat. We’ll let the picture tell that story! 😬

Some great racing, strong finishes and a little unexpected excitement!

We’re excited to see what Day 2 brings! Good luck to Kurtis and Mike. We’re cheering you on from back home!

Happy Thanksgiving from Kings Park Speedway!

As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving weekend, we want to take a moment to reflect on just how much we have to be thankful for.

We’re thankful for our racers who put their heart and soul into every race, the families who support them, our incredible volunteers who give so much of their time, our sponsors who help make it all possible, and of course, our fans who continue to fill the stands and cheer everyone on!

But most of all, we’re thankful for the friendships, memories, laughter and special moments that make Kings Park Speedway so much more than just a racetrack.

From our racing family to yours, we wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend filled with family, friends and plenty of reasons to be thankful!

🏁 Happy Thanksgiving! 🍂
